He claims that his family owns four power plants, which considerably offset Nigeria’s energy requirements.
During an appearance on the American podcast “Business Untitled,” Davido discussed his own finances and family business.
“I tried to get into cryptocurrency once because it’s very popular in Nigeria,” he remarked. Aside from that, my family and I own four very valuable power plants. We supply energy to the majority of Nigeria.
“My spouse enjoys cooking. For her, we are attempting to open a restaurant. However, I focus mostly on my passion, which is music.
Many analysts disagree with Davido’s assertions that his family provides the majority of Nigeria’s energy needs, despite the fact that he comes from a wealthy family with assets in the energy industry.
In Nigeria, the government owns the majority of the country’s large thermal and hydroelectric plants.
